A UUP Member Engagement Day will be held Friday, February 20th on the Alfred Campus. A lunch session is planned in SLC 310 (the Small Event Space) starting at 11:30 am.  Our focus will be the chapter budget presentation and member vote.  Per requirements laid out in our bylaws and the UUP constitution, the Alfred chapter proposed budget for 2026-27 has been posted and is available for review on our Alfred Chapter website within the BYLAWS tab: https://uuphost.org/alfred/bylaws/

Please RSVP to Elaine Burns-Ryan (Alfred UUP Chapter Assistant) at alfred@uupmail.org

(We are working on a plan to present at Wellsville and Northland around that time, possibly remotely.  More information will follow for our School of Applied Technology members!)

This is a MEMBER EVENT, if you'd like to attend, we will help you sign up!  UUP membership makes good things happen! Students Service Survey - Complete the NASCE Survey and be Entered in a Gift Card Drawing!

Help us capture the student story of service and community engagement at Alfred State! All students taking in person classes at the Wellsville or Alfred Campus will receive an email with a link to complete the NASCE survey, which will be emailed directly to you on February 9th from the following email address with this subject line:

  • From: noreply@qemailserver.com
  • Subject line of email: NASCE Community Engagement Survey at Alfred State College.

Alfred State College students who complete the survey will be entered to win one of 5 campus store gift cards valued at $50 each

This is a legitimate survey and we are seeking your support to help us capture the story of service and community engagement performed by students at Alfred State College. From participating in program that broadened awareness or support to a community entity, donating blood, can recycling (project porcupine in residential halls), registering to vote at tabling event, supporting campus and town clean-up events, engaging with food or clothing drives, supported community need through a class, participating in our Alfred Day of service, or joining disaster relief and habitat for humanity efforts, there are countless ways your story of community and service can be captured.  The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete, and we ask that all students make sure they are completing it before February 20th.

Should you have any questions you can reach out to Cyan Corwine (corwincy@alfredstate.edu) in the Center for Civic Leadership!
