Students Who Do Not Have A Parking Permit - University Police
Students who did not register for a parking permit or failed to pick up their permit that was registered/paid online, please pick it up at University Police (we are open 24/7) to avoid being ticketed for failure to display the permit while parked on Alfred/Wellsville campuses. Beginning next week, all students who registered and were assigned a permit, but failed to pick it up will have the permit record removed along with the $95.00 fee refunded to their student account.
Academy of Food Interest Meeting
Would you consider yourself a food connoisseur? Do you like to travel? How about traveling to different restaurants (locally and otherwise) to try their signature dishes?? Come on over to the 3rd floor PHS Lounge and check out our new club " The Academy of Food " to find out more information on how you could join!
When: Friday, September 16th
Time: 2pm-3pm
Location: PHS 3rd Floor Lounge
Driving Concerns to Wellsville Campus
Local officials, including area school superintendents, have contacted our offices to report a sudden increase in dangerous and reckless driving between Alfred and Wellsville. The officials believe that the vehicles are students traveling between campuses. To ensure community safety, law enforcement agencies will be increasing their patrols of the roads in these areas to address speeding and aggressive driving. These agencies have expressed willingness to share the offenders ticketed with us.
We care about student safety and to do our part, we will begin suspending parking privileges on one or both campuses for any student ticketed for speeding, aggressive driving behaviors, or whose license plates are supplied from officials who can document unsafe behaviors. You can help by doing your part: driving responsibly to preserve your privileges and avoid a very costly ticket.
We appreciate your willingness to be a responsible member of this community,
Dr. Greg Sammons, Vice President for Student Affairs
Mr. Jeff Stevens, Dean of the School of Applied Technology
