Student Parking Pass Pick Up

After registering your vehicle online, students should pick up parking passes at the University Police Department. The University Police Department is located in the TG House on Lower College Drive in parking lot #3. Staff will be on the front porch handing out the passes on the following dates:

Wednesday August 23rd from 8am-4pm

Thursday August 24th from 8am-4pm

Friday August 25th from Noon-4pm

Parking registration information can be found here: https://www.alfredstate.edu/university-police/parking-registration

If for some reason you are unable to register your vehicle online, you can pay the $95 parking registration fee at Student Records and Financial Services and then bring the receipt to the University Police Department and we will issue your permit to you at that time. You will need to provide the vehicle license plate, year, make/model and color.

If you are unable to pick up during the reserved hours, parking passes for students living on campus and those commuting to the Alfred Campus may be picked up at the University Police Department during the first week of classes. Your vehicle must have a hang tag displayed on the rearview mirror by 9/4.

While waiting to process or pick up your parking pass, please be sure to park in a designated student parking spot (not commuter, faculty & staff, visitor, future pioneer or accessible parking spaces).

WELLSVILLE CAMPUS COMMUTERS: Students that only commute to the Wellsville Campus can pick their parking passes up on that campus during the first week of classes.

Message from University Police

As the fall semester commences, University Police are reminding all students not to enter or walk within any campus areas that are currently under construction. This also includes all areas that are blocked off to vehicle traffic or fenced off in any way. Many unseen hazards exist within these areas and emergency personnel are unable to gain access or assist in the event of an accident or emergency.

In addition, students are also unauthorized from tampering with any of the construction vehicles or property at any time. This includes moving or interfering with any cones or barriers observed on campus.

Intermittent Water Shutdown

Please be aware of intermittent water interruptions in the lower loop buildings today as the Contractors make their final campus water line tie-ins. These water shutdowns will be brief and should not cause any issues. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Facilities main office at 4750.

Room Selection for 2023 - 2024

The individual room selection process has ended. Students without a housing assignment for the 2023 – 2024 academic year must complete the housing application in eRezLife. Once completed our office will work on providing you with a housing assignment for the 2023 – 2024 academic year based on your building preferences.

If you have someone you wish to room with, please create a roommate group after each person has completed their housing application. Residential Services will try to place you with your roommate group if the space allows for it.

Please contact Residential Services at reslife@alfredstate.edu or 607-587-4371 with any questions.
