Winners will be drawn at halftime on Saturday, and you do not have to be present to win.

*If you are under the age of 21 you are unable to win baskets with alcohol.

Parking lots 19, 20 & 20A are closed at this time. Parking lot 22 will close at 4pm today, Friday September 19th. The parking lots will be closed through the completion of all Homecoming events. If you are traveling and leaving a vehicle on campus, please make sure your vehicle is moved out of the closed lots before you leave. Students may park in any open lots after 4pm today and through the weekend, vehicles must be back in the appropriate student parking before Monday morning at 7am. 

*There will be another large scale closure in this area on Tuesday September 23rd for the Fall Career Fair - Please check back for updates.

Vehicles that remain in closed parking lots or re-enter after the closing time are subject to enforcement up to and including towing at the owners expense.

Students are invited to attend a Roller Skating Party on Sunday, Sept. 21 in Franklinville at the Skateland Family Fun Center. The party is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, with skating starting at 11:00 am. The party has been sponsored by an Alfred State Faculty member and admission is free, with skate rentals included. Transportation will need to be arranged via carpools. Join us for an inclusive skating experience to cap off homecoming weekend.

Refunding for the Fall 2025 semester has begun.  Students who have enrolled in e-Refund need not take any additional steps.  

If you have not already done so, you can enroll in this method for future refunds by visiting my.AlfredState.edu/Finances and selecting 7. PAY BILL/SIGN UP FOR E-REFUND.  This is the fastest and most convenient way to receive your refund!

For students who do not enroll in e-Refund, checks are mailed to the address on file.   

Please Note: Refunds are based on enrollment status.  Students enrolled in part of term courses, may not see their full refund available until participation has begun in 12 credit hours for the semester. Additionally, Refunds may be issued as funds are received and as a result students may receive multiple refunds throughout the semester.

📢 Faculty Advisor Needed

The Student Senate is seeking a faculty advisor to support and guide our team. We're looking for someone passionate about student leadership who can attend meetings, offer advice, and serve as a bridge to administration.

Parking Lots 18, 19, 20, 20A, 21 and 22 (near Pioneer Stadium/Orvis) will be CLOSED at 4pm on Tuesday September 23rd. Students that are being required to move their vehicles from these parking lots may park in any open STUDENT lot between 4pm on the 23rd and the conclusion of the Career Fair on Wednesday September 24th. Students that will be moving their vehicles BEFORE 7:30am on Wednesday September 24th may park in Faculty and Staff or Commuter over night. Vehicles must be moved by 7:30am.

10-11 Vet Tech Xray identification quiz and Masonry Brick Tetris: how fast can you complete the puzzle?

11-12: Paint your roommate/friend: sit across from your bestie and paint portraits of each other- share the results after 25 minutes. 

12-1 Straw Rockets-Build your own straw rocket and test it on the Straw Rocket Launcher. Just like early rocket pioneer Robert Goddard, you can conduct scientific experiments by varying the trajectory angle and launch energy. These rockets can travel up to 50 feet! 

1-2: Paint your roommate/friend: sit across from your bestie and paint portraits of each other- share the results after 25 minutes. 

3-5 Hodge Podge Activities: Create a swirling Lava Monster cup, Paper Bridge Build: how strong a bridge can you build with limited supplies? Van de Graaff photos- take a hair-raising photo. 

All activities are available while supplies last.
