Summer School Faculty - Please note when your grades are due:
Part of Term A - June 21st by 11:00am
Part of Term C - June 28th by 11:00am
Part of Term B - July 18th by 11:00am
Part of Term D - July 26th by 11:00am
Part of Term 1 - August 9th by 11:00am
Part of Term 2 and E - August 21st by 11:00am
There is a very short turn around time between the time grades are due for Part of Term 2 and E before the Fall Semester begins. Please be sure to have your grades in timely.

The Office of Residential Services is now taking applications for the Resident Assistant Position for Fall 2024.
RA's get leadership development, mentorship with professionals, soft skill development and a resume builder, opportunities to advance into paid positions, and getting their room paid for!

The application will be open throughout the summer and interviews will be conducted as necessary.
To qualify for the RA position, candidates must have a minimum 2.25 GPA and no current student conduct status.

Are you living in Alfred this summer? You still have access to the Community Needs Hub Food Pantry! Bags will be available for pick up on Thursday afternoons on the SLC 4th floor. Work-Study Opportunities with Student Senate for 2024-25 Academic Year
Are you eligible for work-study and seeking a job for the next academic year? The Student Senate is now hiring! This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with various operational aspects of student governance and enhance your organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain records, update databases, perform audits, and coordinate procurement of Student Senate assets.
- Club and Organization Finance Support: Act as a contact for student groups regarding Senate financing, organizational development, and more.
- Event Support: Assist in the planning and implementation of leadership events planned by the Student Senate.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain communication with student clubs and coordinate activities with Senate departments.
- Additional Duties: Participate in major college events and undertake tasks as assigned to support Senate operations.

Fall 2024 Room Selection for New Students
Selecting your Room!
Room selection will begin April 1, 2024 for students whose tuition deposit is received by March 26.
For those who have not paid their tuition deposit by March 26, room selection will begin on April 15, 2024.
You will need to have your housing application completed in order to select your room!
Selecting your room instructions:
- Log into your my.alfredstate.edu
- Select the “Housing” icon
- Return to "Housing Overview"
- Select the green "Browse Rooms"
- You can search for specific rooms by building/section and/or other residence preferences set up. This may take a couple of attempts pending on your preferences and room availability. "No bed available" will appear if there is not a room available through the preferences you set up.
- Click the "bed" icon to select your room of choice.
- Dialog window will be prompted with details of the selected room.
- Click the "choose this bed" button
- Review the details of your room reservation. Click on "Assign me now" to confirm your assignment. Click the "look at other rooms" link to browse other rooms.
Please note individual room selection will close on August 1, 2024

Selecting your Room!
Room selection will begin March 25, 2024 and will be released based on completed credit hours as follows:
Monday, March 25 – 90+ Credit Hours Completed
Tuesday, March 26, 60+ credit hours completed
Wednesday, March 27, 30+ credit hours completed
Thursday, March 28 , 29 or less credit hours completed
