Construction Area Safety Reminders - University Police

Once again, University Police would like to remind all persons not to enter, walk within or block any campus areas that are currently under construction. No one should be crossing through, moving or damaging fences. If there is a fence or caution tape in your walking route, please find an alternate route around the construction area. This is for your own safety.

Many unseen hazards exist within these areas and emergency personnel may be unable to gain access or assist in the event of an accident or emergency.

Do not tamper with any of the construction vehicles or property at any time. This includes moving or interfering with any cones, fences, barriers and caution tape observed on campus.

Persons caught in construction areas, tampering with, or moving any construction property will be prosecuted.
