SUBMISSIONS WANTED FOR ERGO, ALFRED STATE’S LITERARY MAGAZINE
Take a break, sit quietly, and create a piece of artwork, poem, story, or whatever and send to Ergo, Alfred State’s literary magazine, at Ergo@alfredstate.edu.

Wondering what to submit? Full wrap cover (front & back) 17.25" wide by 11.25" high or just the front cover 8.75" wide by 11.25" high, 300 dpi, jpeg. All entries must fit these specifications for consideration.
And better yet, there's a prize! Winner and a runner-up will both get a $100 gift certificate for the ASC Campus Store, and boasting rights for being featured as the author of the cover on the Fall 2023 ERGO publication!

CAL Club's Haunted Trail
Come join us for a spooktacular time at the CAL Club Haunted Trail!!
Where: Pick up will be at the Pioneer Center and you will be shuttled up to the college farm for a wagon ride up to the trail which is located behind the farm
When: October 30th and October 31st, with rain day of November 1st
Time: 7:00PM - 10:00PM *last call will be at 9:15PM*
Prices: $10 for Single and $18 for couples
Your admission includes the trail and Cider and Doughnuts after the trail provided by Vet Tech Club and your shuttle rides to and from the Pioneer Center
Funds from this event will help us advocate for agriculture at future club events and activities

'Registration Readiness' & 'Understanding Your Degree Plan' Workshops - AAC
The Academic Advising Center will be hosting two in-person workshops this semester to help prepare students for Spring Registration and understanding their degree plan.
Registration Readiness Workshop (New & First-Year Students) -- Tuesday, October 17th at 5pm, EJ Brown 109
It's time to look to the future and plan for next semester! Learn about course registration, meeting with your advisor, staying on track with your degree planning, and graduation requirements! Most students get to register themselves for classes. The sooner you can get registered for next semester, the better schedule you will have. Learn about the digital tools that can help make registration quick and easy!
Understanding Your Degree Plan (All Students) -- Wednesday, October 18th at 5pm, EJ Brown 109
Get ready to take the lead in your education! In creating a degree plan you will have the ability to strategically plan courses to meet graduation requirements. Students will learn how to read and understand their degree requirements in Degree Works (the "Plans" tool in Degree Works). Now you will know exactly which courses are planned for each semester of their degree plan.

Tables and chairs are available for doing homework or to sit with your friends after grabbing a meal a the Feast Beast. Just looking for a place to lounge and hang out?
