EDITED: Timeline for Grades-Summer Session 2025

Please note the DATE CHANGE for Part of Term A-May 27-June 16.  Grades must be posted to Banner by JUNE 19TH, not June 20th due to maintenance.

 

Faculty please note the following dates for Summer Session Grades.  Any questions, contact extendedlearning@alfredstate.edu   Thank you! 

Part of Term 1-May 27-August 4:  Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term 1 on August 4th at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term 1 POSTED to Banner by August 8th at 11am.

Part of Term 2-May 27-August 18: Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term 2 on August 18th at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term 1 POSTED to Banner by August 20th at 11am. 

Part of Term A-May 27-June 16:  Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term A on June 16th at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term A POSTED to Banner by June 19th at 11am.

Part of Term B-June 23-July 11:  Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term B on July 11th at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term B POSTED to Banner by July 17th at 11am.

Part of Term C-May 27-June 23:   Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term C on June 23rd at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term C POSTED to Banner by June 27th at 11am. 

Part of Term D-June 24-July 21:   Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term D on July 21st at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term D POSTED to Banner by July 25th at 11am. 

Part of Term E-July 22-August 18:  Faculty may BEGIN entering grades for Part of Term E on August 18th at 4pm.  Faculty must have grades for Part of Term 1 POSTED to Banner by August 20th at 11am.

Fall 2025 Activities Fair Sign-Ups

We are pleased to announce that sign-ups for the upcoming Activities Fair are now open! The fair will be held on Thursday, August 21st, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Pioneer Stadium.

How to Participate:
To ensure your group's participation, please complete the reservation form available at Activities Fair Form. Please note that table reservations are required due to limited space availability.

Important Details:

  • Date: Thursday, August 21st, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Location: Pioneer Stadium
  • Deadline: Sign-ups must be completed by August 15th to secure your table.

Groups that do not reserve a table by the deadline may not be allotted space. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please contact Tyler Ribble at Ribblet@alfredstate.edu.

Alfred's Got Talent Auditions!

Auditions for Alfred's Got Talent 2025 are happening soon! Whether you sing, dance, perform stand-up comedy, play a musical instrument, or have another amazing talent, we want to see what you've got!

Audition Dates: Wednesday, September 3rd & Thursday, September 4th
Audition Time: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: SLC Small Event Space

Talent Show Date: Friday, September 19th
Talent Show Time: 9:00pm - 11:00pm

  • 1st Place: $300
  • 2nd Place: $200
  • 3rd Place: $100

Student Senate Treasurer Training

The Student Senate Treasurer Training is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th at 7:00 PM in SLC 310 (Small Event Space). Please arrive up to 15 minutes early to sign in.

Attendance Requirements:

  • This training is mandatory for all Senate-funded clubs.
  • Each organization must send their Club Treasurer and one additional Executive Board member to receive the THREE incentive points for this event.
  • If the Club Treasurer is unavailable, the organization must still send two members to receive the incentive points. The Club Treasurer can arrange a separate training session with the Director of Finance & Operations, Tyler Ribble, to gain access to club funds.
  • Members may represent more than one organization, but must sign in for each.

Recommendations:

  • Club Advisors and professionals overseeing budgets funded by the Student Senate are encouraged to attend.

Important Note:

  • Failure to attend will result in the organization's budget being frozen until proper training is completed. Incentive points cannot be earned through a substitute training session.
