Join us as we bring back Relay for Life in partnership with the American Cancer Society, an organization dedicated to funding life-saving cancer research, supporting patients and caregivers, and promoting prevention and awareness initiatives.

This lock-in event is open to the entire Alfred community, surrounding communities, and Alfred State faculty, staff, and students. No entry or re-entry after 11:00 PM.
Our Goal: Raise $25,000!

Teams are encouraged to plan activities at their campsites.
๐ด Food: Provided at intervals throughout the night. Attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks.
Other Items You Can Bring:
- Blankets, pillows, air mattresses
- Comfortable chairs (standard chairs will be provided).

- Weapons of any kind

Courses Approved as Acceptable for General Education Requirements
The following course has been approved by the Vice President for Academic Affairs as acceptable for General Education requirements under the Natural Sciences category effective fall 2024.
BIOL 5254 - Principles of Microbiology

Last Day to Add a Class
If you are still adjusting your semester schedule, please be aware of the following important deadlines:
- Full-Term Classes:
The last day to add a full-term class is 4:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025.
For further details, please refer to Academic Regulations 502.10A and 502.10B.

All students are encouraged to review and update their personal information on a regular basis. You can update items such as your address, phone number, preferred first name, and personal pronouns. These updates can be made at my.AlfredState.edu/registration by selecting the โUpdate Personal Informationโ icon.
Use Your Refund to Buy Books Now!
If students are expecting a refund and need books or supplies now, they can add funds to CSA (Campus Spending Account). CSA can be added to the semester bill and used at the Campus Store by the next business day. Please view our CSA Instructions guide for more information. Please contact the Student Records and Financial Services office with any questions on how to use CSA.
Student Senate General Assembly Meetings - Spring 2025 Schedule
The Fall Schedule for the Student Senate General Assembly Meeting is as follows:
- Tuesday, February 4th: Class A Incentive Event - 3 Points
- Tuesday, February 18th: Class B Incentive Event - 1 Point
- Tuesday, March 4th: Class B Incentive Event - 1 Point
- Tuesday, March 25th: Class B Incentive Event - 1 Point
- Tuesday, April 8th: Class A Incentive Event - 3 Pointst
- Tuesday, April 22nd: Class A Incentive Event - 3 Points
Meetings will take place in a new location - Physical Health & Science Building (PHS) 107
Meetings will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
The Student Senate General Assembly (GA) provides the opportunity for all Students of Alfred State to discuss issues/concerns and hear updates in regard to all matters that affect campus life. These topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Campus Dining & Transportation
2. Academic & Technology Services
3. Student Engagement & Clubs/Organizations
4. Commuter Affairs & Campus Parking
5. University Police & Campus Safety
6. Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
This semester the Student Senate Executive Board will be raffling off three $250 gift cards at the last General Assembly (GA) on 12/3/2024. To receive a ticket for the raffle you must attend a GA meeting throughout the semester. Each attendance will earn you one ticket.
Attendees must show up on time. Late attendance forfeits your ability to receive your raffle ticket.
