Construction Update on Upper College Drive - Jon Nickerson
As infrastructure construction continues to progress, we are getting ready to move on to the next area for improvements. This phase will cause a closure of loop road from the access road up to the area before parking lots #18, 19 & 20 through the Facilities Building just north of West Gate Road.
This change in road closure is currently scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 6. West Gate Road will now be open to access Loop Road from the west (Moland Hill Road). Half of parking lot #21 will not be accessible for parking to allow for a turn-around point for traffic (including large trucks and buses). The entrance to Lot #16 will be closed and the last 10 parking spots closest to loop road will be closed off, but remainder of Lot #16 will remain open through an access road.
If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the facilities office at 4750 or Jon Nickerson at 4724. Thank you for all your cooperation as we work to improve loop road and the delivery of quality utilities to all of campus.

In honor of Earth Day 2023, this special edition of Verdant Views will feature current Fellows in Cornell’s Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, sharing stories of the challenges and choices they face in their home countries, and actions being taken in response to this global crisis. Presented in partnership with the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program and the CALS Department of Global Development.
