Need to request to change your move-in date?

Please log into eRezLIfe (my.alfredstate.edu and select "Sign up for housing")

Under forms find the "Move in Date Change Request" form

Please be as specific as possible when filling out this form.

New students are required to move in by Wednesday, August 23.

Clubs and Organization Presidents please fill this form out if you will be arriving early for Week of Welcome events.

The individual room selection process has ended. Students without a housing assignment for the 2023 – 2024 academic year must complete the housing application in eRezLife. Once completed our office will work on providing you with a housing assignment for the 2023 – 2024 academic year based on your building preferences.

If you have someone you wish to room with, please create a roommate group after each person has completed their housing application. Residential Services will try to place you with your roommate group if the space allows for it.

The New York State Department of Transportation has shared the below project that is expected to begin on Monday, July 31, which will impact motorists traveling within the Village of Almond and Alfred Station:

• Milling and Paving along State Route 21 within the Village of Almond and Alfred Station. Starting at Marvin Lane in the Village of Almond and progressing to the State Route 244 intersection in Alfred Station

Work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the week.   

During construction, State Route 21 will be reduced to a single lane to accommodate paving activities between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm.  Traffic will be controlled by on-site flagging personal.

Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.  Motorists will experience delays during this time.

Then apply to join Brother to Brother…

Brother to Brother is part of the newly created Alfred State BIPOC Scholars Program for enrolled male-identifying BIPOC Alfred State students in all programs that provides academic, social, and professional mentoring, support, and opportunities focused on persistence, retention, and success of the community at Alfred State.

The Brother to Brother program is under the direction of Dr. Brian Saltsman, Coordinator of BIPOC Scholars, and is facilitated by professional and student peer mentors. The program will utilize on-campus offices and personnel, community resources, and regionally available programs and opportunities to meet the needs of the target demographic population. The goals are to build intentional community for men of color at Alfred State, increase the retention rate of men of color, and increase success outcomes inside and outside of the classroom.

An interest and intake meeting will be held during the first week of Fall 2023. A schedule of events and resources will be distributed. Currently, the following are a sample of the included topics and events:
