Get Ready for Spring 2024 Registration

Get Ready for Spring 2024 Registration


Spring 2024 registration begins November 13, 2023 at 9 AM!  The first step is printing a copy of the Course Selection Form from BannerWeb.  Next, meet with your academic adviser to review your course selections and receive your Alternate Registration PIN and web registration time. Registration instructions are available at under “Records Office Resources.”


Graduating and returning in a new major?  You will need to re-apply through Admissions and pay your enrollment deposit before you will be assigned a web registration time and Alternate Registration PIN. 


Were you expecting to graduate this semester but now will not?  In order to be assigned a registration time, your academic department chair must remove you from the graduation list.  Follow up to make sure your name has been removed.


Please note that students are not officially registered for classes until their bills are paid/processed with Student Records and Financial Services.  The Spring 2024 bill is due by 4:00 PM on January 11, 2024.

Up to $1,000 in Grant Money Available for Part-Time Students!

Part-time students can apply for up to $1,000 through the Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) grant for the fall semester. To apply you must:

  • Be enrolled in a degree granting program taking between 3 – 11 credit hours.
  • Be a New York State resident
  • Have completed a 2023-2024 FAFSA application
  • Be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Not be receiving TAP or Part-Time TAP this semester

Thanksgiving Break Housing Application

Residence halls will close at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, for the Thanksgiving Break. The Residence halls will reopen at Noon on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Residential Services is aware that the final bus scheduled to leave Alfred leaves before 10:00 p.m. If you are here for an academic reason and cannot make travel arrangements for the evening of Tuesday, November 21, please contact your Residence Director to remain on campus that night. However, you must plan travel arrangements for the morning of Wednesday, November 22.

Only students who have been approved to stay for the break will be allowed in the residence halls.

All others may be charged with trespassing.

Students will only be approved who:

  • Live over 500 miles away (according to your home Banner Address)
  • Have a Special Circumstance (ex. You do not have a place to go)
  • Working for the college during the break (with Supervisors Approval)
  • Part of an official athletic team, listed on the Roster received from Athletics, and have practice or a game during the break

If you wish to apply to stay for the break, please complete the "Break Housing Request" form on eRezLife. To access this form, please sign in to, select "sign up for housing," and then select the "Break Housing Request" form.

Clue Event With Science Society and Drama Club 10/27

Come join Drama Club and Science Society for a game of Clue Friday, October 27th from 4-6pm, in SLC 408. Loosely based on The Lightning Thief, follow the clues to figure out WhoDunIt. Those who figure it out will be entered in a raffle to win a prize!

Interactive poster session - TODAY

Students in Sustainable Vegetable Production will be presenting posters in the Park Space of SLC today (10/27) from 1-3. Visitors will play the role of potential investors, using play money to contribute to the budgets of their favorite farm plans. If you have a chance, stop by and support students with this fun activity.

Food Club is going to Sprague's on Friday, Nov. 10

The Food Club is going to Sprague's in Portville, NY on Friday, Nov. 10.  The van will be outside the PHS-CDH exit on Friday, 11/10, at 2:30 pm for pickup to go to Sprague's.  We should get there by 3:15 pm - 3:30 pm and then be back to campus by 6 pm.  If you're interested in joining, please contact Dr. Bauer at

Spaghetti Take Out Dinner - Benefit Student Derek Correa

Culinary Arts will be hosting a Spaghetti Take Out Dinner on November 16th from 3:00pm - 5:30pm or until sold out whichever comes first at the Culinary Arts parking lot. 

The proceeds from the dinner will go to the parents of Alfred State College student, Derek Correa

The cost is $15.00, cash or check only. 

The menu will include spaghetti, with meatballs, Italian bread, side salad with Italian Vinaigrette, and cookie.

CAL Club's Haunted Trail

Come join us for a spooktacular time at the CAL Club Haunted Trail!!

Where: Pick up will be at the Pioneer Center and you will be shuttled up to the college farm for a wagon ride up to the trail which is located behind the farm

When: October 30th and October 31st, with rain day of November 1st

Time: 7:00PM - 10:00PM *last call will be at 9:15PM*

Prices: $10 for Single and $18 for couples

Your admission includes the trail and Cider and Doughnuts after the trail provided by Vet Tech Club and your shuttle rides to and from the Pioneer Center

Funds from this event will help us advocate for agriculture at future club events and activities
