Looking for a way to serve this June?  We have 3 opportunities lined up and would welcome helping hands. 

• June 4th - Accord Pop Up Pantry / Wellsville Campus - 2-5pm 
• June 18th - Accord Pop Up Pantry / Alfred Campus - 2-5pm 
• June 20th - Alfred State Community Garden Volunteer Day - 9-3

The Office of Residential Services has reopened the Resident Assistant Application for a position in Fall 2025!

RA's get leadership development, mentorship with professionals, soft skill development and a resume builder, opportunities to advance into paid positions, and getting their room paid for!

To qualify for the RA position, candidates must have a minimum 2.25 GPA (Semester & Cumulative) and have no current student conduct status.

Fall 2025 Room Selection for New Students          

Selecting your Room! 

Room selection will begin March 31, 2025 for students whose tuition deposit is received by March 25.  

For those who have not paid their tuition deposit by March 26, room selection will begin on April 14, 2025. 

You will need to have your housing application completed in order to select your room! 

Selecting your room instructions:

1. Log into your my.alfredstate.edu
2. Select the “Housing” icon
3. Return to "Housing Overview" 
4.  Select the green "Browse Rooms"
5. You can search for specific rooms by building/section and/or other residence preferences set up. This may take a couple of attempts pending on your preferences and room availability. "No bed available" will appear if there is not a room available through the preferences you set up. 
6. Click the "bed" icon to select your room of choice. 
7. Dialog window will be prompted with details of the selected room. 
8. Click the "choose this bed" button
9. Review the details of your room reservation. Click on "Assign me now" to confirm your assignment.  Click the "look at other rooms" link to browse other rooms. 

Please note individual room selection will close on August 1, 2025

Selecting your Room! 

Room selection will begin March 24, 2025 and will be released based on completed credit hours as follows: 

Monday, March 24 – 90+ Credit Hours Completed

Tuesday, March 25- 60+ credit hours completed

Wednesday, March 26- 30+ credit hours completed

Thursday, March 27- 29 or less credit hours completed
