Annual EADA Reporting Requirements - Jason Doviak

Parking Lot Closures 10/13- University Police

The other portion of parking lot 19, all of lots 20, 20A and 22 near Orvis will be closed beginning at 4pm on Friday October 13th for Homecoming and Family Weekend.  Students that are being required to move may park in any open STUDENT lot.  During this large scale closure, students may need to park in some of the lesser used lots.  These lots include lot 31 (turn into lot 30 behind Peet Hall to access), lot 42 which is loacted behind the Motorsports Complex and lot 43 located behind Vet Tech on State Route 244.  ACES runs a shuttle that will transport students from Vet Tech Center parking lot to the main campus and back.  Call 607-587-4705 to find out ACES pickup schedule for these lots off of State Route 244.

 

All student vehicles should be moved back to the appropriate student parking by 8pm on Saturday October 15th.  

 

Vehicles that remail in closed parking lots, or re-enter after the closing time, are subject to enforcement up to and including towing at the owners expense.

Health and Wellness Services will be closing at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 12th for an office function. Flags to Half-Staff; Sunrise Wednesday October 11th

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced that flags on State buildings will be flown at half-staff indefinitely starting on Wednesday, October 11 in remembrance of the lives lost as a result of the recent terrorist attacks against the State of Israel.

“New York stands in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish community," Governor Hochul said. “I am proud to serve as Governor of the state that is home to the largest Jewish population outside of Israel and I am committed to doing everything in my power to make sure that this community is supported and protected today and every day."

Financial Literacy & Responsibility Presentation

Brother to Brother is sponsoring a seminar and presentation on Financial Literacy and Responsibility by Devone McLeod, CFP on Thursday October 12th in room 101 PHS (Physical Health Sciences) 101 from 5-6 pm. Mr. McLeod is Vice President and Financial Advisor at Wealth Enhancement Group. This presentation will be strongly influenced and specifically targeted to members of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Populations of Color) student population as Mr. McLeod was a graduate from a small liberal arts college and former collegiate athlete whom was able to find significant success and overcome barriers to success. Members of the ASC community are encouraged and invited to attend.
