Notice Regarding Bird Control Efforts on Campus - University Police
At dusk each evening, University Police will be using handheld launchers to discharge bird whistlers in an effort to manage the large number of crows on campus. The whistlers are non-harmful devices designed to create sounds that encourage the crows to relocate without causing them harm. This is part of our ongoing efforts to address the situation in a safe and effective manner. We ask for your understanding as we work to maintain a safe and clean environment for all. Should you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to University Police.

Achieving Your Goals Scholarship
Bennerotte & Associates founded the Achieving Your Goals Scholarship to help students who want to help people in need. Ideal candidates will have genuine compassion for the challenges individuals and families face after a catastrophe. We are looking for candidates who have at least a B average for grades and who are pursuing a career that helps make a difference in the lives of others. Although academic achievement is a primary requirement, internships, community involvement, volunteer work, and extracurricular activities are also considered part of our selection process.
Please consider making this scholarship available to your students:

Scholarship Snapshot
Submission Deadline: August 31, 2025
Award Announcement: September 15, 2025
Scholarship Amount: $1000
Check your email before picking up your mail
As a reminder to all students, please wait until after you have an email from the mailroom before going to pick up your packages.
When you receive delivery confirmation from the carrier (Amazon, FedEx. UPS, etc.), that does not mean your package is ready to be picked up.
The mailroom processes hundreds of packages a day. Once we have them in our possession, it may still take hours to process them before they are ready to be picked up.

New students, or students that are bringing a vehicle to campus for the first time can pick up parking passes anytime at the University Police Department. We are open 24/7. If you picked up a parking pass in the Fall, that pass is good through the Spring semester.
If you have not registered your vehicle yet, please do so online in BannerWeb and select:
Student Services & Financial Aid:
• Registration
• Bill Processing/Adjustments
• Pay/Process Bill
• Select Term
• Your billing information will appear and under "Adjustable Fees" you will enter your vehicle information (license plate number and state along with vehicle make, model, color, year).
If you are not able to register online, you may pay the vehicle registration fee in person at Student Records & Financial Services located in the 10 Elm Building Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. You will then have to bring your receipt to the University Police Department and fill out your vehicle information and pick up your hang tag at that time.
