SLC Hours - Winter Break
SLC Hours for winter break will be 7 am - 7 pm Monday-Friday. These hours will be effective until Monday, January 19th.
If you need to access the SLC outside of this timeframe, please contact Maggie Gause (Weiss) in the Office of Student Engagement or University Police.
Community Needs Hub - Winter Break Pantry Hours
The Center for Civic Leadership and International Student and Scholar Service office will be closed from December 20-January 5th with limited access to email. Questions related to our winter hours and services can be sent to civicengagement@alfredstate.edu or thePlate@alfredstate.edu. Our Community Needs Hub, which houses our campus food pantry and thrift store will be staffed weekly starting December 30th.
The Community Needs Hub (ground floor of Braddon Hall) will be closed from December 20th - December 29th. To accommodate potential need during this time, pre-made pantry bags are available through residential life in Town House Commons. Our Community Needs Hub will re-open on Tuesday, December 30th and will be staffed from 10-3 weekdays (Monday-Friday) until the start of the spring semester.
- Food pantry requests can be submitted in person during open hours or remotely through our Food Pantry Request Form. Students submitting a request in person will be able to receive goods at the time of the request while those submitting remotely will be notified by staff via email once the bag is available for pick-up. As a reminder, the pantry will not be staffed from the 20th-30th of December but students seeking support during this time can contact Residential Life to gain access to one of the pre-made pantry bags they have in the Town House Commons.
