Spring Civic Film and Discussion - April 2nd at 5pm
The Center for Civic Leadership and Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences invite you to join us for a screening of Please Vote for Me, a compelling documentary that explores democracy in an unexpected setting: a third-grade classroom in China. As students navigate campaigning, debates, and election strategies, the film asks us to consider our understanding of democracy in action. The film is 45 minutes long and time for discussion afterwards will be included. Voter Registration information and snacks provided!
Wednesday, April 2nd, 5 pm, SLC Small Events Space
The event is open to all. Should you have any questions or wish to support by engaging your students, please email Dr. Angela Graves (GravesA1@alfredstate.edu) and/or Cyan Corwine (corwincy@alfredstate.edu).
