Student Announce August 18, 2026

Calling all student leaders! Join us for the Student Organization Leadership Institute (SOLI) — a full day designed to help you build stronger clubs, become better leaders, and connect with other student organizations across campus.

📅 Sunday, September 13
⏰ 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Student Leadership Center

Throughout the day, you’ll participate in interactive workshops and sessions focused on leadership, communication, event planning, fundraising, organization growth, and more.

⭐ Class C – Bonus Point Event
Student Senate funded clubs and organizations must have 2 members attend for the entire conference to be eligible for bonus points. Attendees may represent a maximum of 2 clubs/organizations. Clubs are welcome and encouraged to send additional members!

Attendees will also have the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken during the conference!

Think you’ve got what it takes to shine on stage? 🎤✨

Sign up to audition for Alfred’s Got Talent and show off your skills in front of the Alfred State community! Whether you sing, dance, perform comedy, play an instrument, or have another unique talent, we want to see it.

Auditions are currently scheduled to take place:

• Thursday, September 10th from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, September 11th from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The official Alfred’s Got Talent show will take place during Homecoming & Family Weekend on Friday, September 25th.

💰 Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 contestants!
