Know Your Rights: Making Midterms Matter
Join the Cultural Life Center and Center for Civic Leadership for a relevant and thought provoking discussion about why the midterm elections matter and how to make your vote and your voice count! This workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 18th at 5:30 pm in the Small Events Space (SLC 310).
'Midterm Recovery' Workshop
The Student Success Center will be hosting the Midterm Recovery Workshop on Thursday, March 19th at 5pm in the Student Development Center, Room 109. If you are looking at your midterm grades and want to improve them, start with this workshop. Strategies and options will be discussed as to the best course of action to achieve your goals this semester.

'Registration Readiness' Workshops - AAC
The Academic Advising Center will be hosting two Registration Readiness Workshops this semester. It's time to look to the future and plan for next semester! Learn about course registration, meeting with your advisor, staying on track with your degree planning, and graduation requirements! Most students get to register themselves for classes. The sooner you can get registered for next semester, the better schedule you will have. Learn about the digital tools that can help make registration quick and easy! All are welcome and encouraged to join!

Parking Lot Closures 3/20 - Open House - University Police
Student parking lots 3 (by SLC), 19, 20, 20A and 22 (near Pioneer Stadium/Orvis) and Faculty/Staff parking lots 3 (near SLC) & 21 (near Orvis) will be closed Friday March 20th from 4pm through the completion of the Open House on Sunday afternoon. If you are traveling and leaving a vehicle on campus for the weekend please make sure that it is moved out of the closed lots before you leave. Students may park in any other open lots over the weekend, but must be back in the appropriate student parking before Monday morning at 7am.
Vehicles that remain in closed parking lots or re-enter after the closing time are subject to enforcement up to and including towing at the owners expense.

Are you ready to lead and make an impact at Alfred State? The Student Senate is now accepting candidates for the 2026–2027 Executive Board!
Available Positions:

- Vice President of Records and Organization
- Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging
- Vice President of Student Activities
- Vice President of Academic and Technology Affairs
- Vice President of Student Life
- Vice President of Wellsville Affairs
- Vice President of Commuter Affairs
Compensation:
All positions earn a base pay of $16.00/hour for up to 9 hours per week.

Mandatory One-on-One Meeting
After submitting the interest form, the current holder of the position you are seeking will contact you to schedule a mandatory one-on-one meeting.
These meetings must take place between:
Monday, March 22nd – Monday, April 6th
This meeting must be completed within this timeframe in order to secure your place on the ballot. Failure to complete the meeting will result in removal from the ballot.

- Must maintain a minimum 2.25 GPA (last semester and cumulative)
- Must be available every Tuesday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM during the 2026–2027 academic year
