2026 SUNY Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) Begins March 22
Alfred State College is committed to continuously improving the student experience—from academics and support programs to campus facilities and beyond. Student feedback plays a vital role in identifying what is working well and where we can do better.
As part of this effort, Alfred State will participate in the 2026 SUNY Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS). On Sunday, March 22, you will receive an email from survey@suny.edu with a link to the survey.
This is an important opportunity to share your feedback about your experience at Alfred State. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain confidential. Please contact Jennifer Dunne, Director OIRPE at dunnej@alfredstate.edu with any questions.
Passover Seder
Hillel is hosting a Passover Seder on Wednesday, April 1, at 5:00 in the Kenyon-Allen room in the Powell Campus Center at Alfred University. If you are planning to come, please contact hillel@alfred.edu to RSVP.
Project Prom Dress accepting dress donations
The Delta Chi Omega Sorority is once again collecting prom dresses and accessories for its annual Project Prom Dress Event. Dresses can be dropped off at Print and Mail Services.
New and gently used prom gowns and accessories are collected year round and offered to high-school aged girls annually free of charge.
Project Prom Dress will be held Sunday, April 12 from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in the SLC Small Event Space.
🎓 Your Story, Pinned Forward
Your time at Alfred State is part of something bigger, rooted in a tradition that began in 1908 and carried forward by generations of students before you. As you prepare to graduate, a $19.08 senior gift, honoring our founding year, is a meaningful way to continue that legacy and support those who will follow in your footsteps.
In recognition of your gift, you’ll receive a Philanthropy Pin to wear at commencement, where it will be formally recognized in the official program. More than a symbol for one day, it represents your connection to Alfred State, your impact on its future, and your place in a tradition of giving that will continue long after you leave campus.
📌 Pin it forward. Wear it loud and proud, at commencement and always!

Student Athletes are collecting school supplies March 20 – April 10. Your contributions directly support young learners who need it most. Every backpack filled makes a meaningful difference!
