Step into culture, community, and connection at the Cultural Life Center Open Center!
Join us Thursday, January 29th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Cultural Life Center SLC 401 for an engaging open-center experience where cultural club leaders come together to welcome students, share their organizations, and showcase all that the Cultural Life Center has to offer. This is your chance to learn about student-led cultural groups, ask questions, and discover how the space supports identity, expression, and belonging on campus. Enjoy music, light refreshments, and a relaxed atmosphere designed for conversation, exploration, and connection. Whether you’re looking to get involved, find your community, or simply explore the space, everyone is welcome! 

The last day to add a full-term course is 4:00 pm on Monday, February 2nd.  Please see Academic Regulations 502.10A and 502.10B for more information.

Alfred State has a new scholarship platform called Scholarship Universe. It’s the one place where students can be matched with both internal and external scholarships.

5 Things to Know:

1.     When you log in, you'll land on a dashboard. To unlock scholarships, the most important step is answering the matching questions — you can click the green bar with the dollar signs at the top or the “Questions” tab on the left.

2.    As you answer questions, the system automatically matches you with scholarships you may qualify for. Matches can be viewed under the “Scholarships” tab on the left toolbar. Scholarships are labeled as Match, Partial Match, or Non-Match.

3.     You can see application-based scholarships under the “Applications” tab, including a section for ones that are “Ready to Start.”

4.     If documents are required, you can upload everything directly under the “My Docs” tab.

5.     It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s absolutely worth it — scholarships are open NOW, so students should log in and get started, you can access Scholarship Universe by this link:  https://alfredstate.scholarshipuniverse.com or on our Alfred State webpage: ScholarshipUniverse | Alfred State

The Oasis Wellness space in the Student Leadership Center is here to help our campus community manage stress, find balance, and promote rest/relaxation.  The Oasis features massage chairs among other amenities and is available to both students and faculty/staff.  Visit us during the following hours:
