We are pleased to announce that effective immediately, Dr. Matthew Lawrence, will be serving as the Interim Dean for SAMET.  Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience to this role that will help ensure continuity of operations, stability, and support for faculty, staff, and students in the School throughout the Fall semester.  We will launch a national search for the permanent Dean position in the Fall and I am confident that Matt will be able to lead the School effectively through this transition.  Please join me in thanking Matt for his service in this important role.

Faculty/staff should register your vehicle online. All permits (hangtags) will be mailed to your department’s campus address. The registration fee remains $5 per employee.

Once registered, your permit will be mailed through campus mail to your department’s address. *Please make sure your campus address is up-to-date. If it is not, please contact HR to make necessary changes.

This process may take a couple of weeks before you receive your permit in the campus mail. The permit can be switched between vehicles that only you drive to campus. They are not to be shared with other individuals to serve as their registration. You may contact University Police for an additional permit for special circumstances at 3999 for arrangements on obtaining it. 

* If for some reason you are not able to pay online, you may pay at Student Records and Financial Services, bring your receipt to the University Police Department, complete a Vehicle Parking Registration Form and we will issue your permit at that time.

Facilities Services has an opening for a Janitor.

The women's wrestling team is in need of an assistant coach. In this role an individual would support the operations of the program, including attending practices and competitions, offering academic guidance, and working with athletes during their time at Alfred. No wrestling experience needed, but combat or competitive sport experience preferred. We'll teach you what you need to know about women's wrestling. Time commitment is flexible. Stipend offered. The Allegany County Fair is quickly approaching, and we are looking for volunteers to help represent Alfred State throughout the week of July 20-25. 

This year, instead of hosting a traditional Alfred State booth, we are transitioning to our Mobile Learning Lab, which will serve as our primary outreach and engagement space at the fair. The Mobile Learning Lab provides an exciting opportunity to showcase Alfred State's innovative programs, connect with prospective students and families, and engage with community members in a dynamic and interactive environment.

We are seeking faculty and staff volunteers who are interested in spending time in the Mobile Learning Lab, greeting visitors, sharing information about Alfred State, and helping create a welcoming experience for fair attendees.
