New Carnegie Honors Prove Alfred State is #1
Alfred State is a leader among US public schools. We’re honored to be recognized by the Carnegie Foundation for both “Applied and Career Studies” and “Opportunity Colleges and Universities: Higher Access & Higher Earnings.”
An analysis of qualifying colleges and universities found that ASC ranked number one in access, graduate earnings, and support for low-income students, while offering a choice of both bachelor’s and associate degrees.

Concluding your journey at Alfred State? Update your Voter Registration Information
The Center for Civic Leadership offers big congratulations to our soon to be graduates and wants to remind any who are concluding their journey with Alfred State to double check your voter registration status and make sure you update it to properly reflect where you wish to be registered to vote. As a reminder, we have Voter Registration resources available to all students in your portal. If you are not sure if you are registered to vote, you can also use our online resources to Check your Registration Status, Research your Ballot, or Find your Polling Place. People tend to pay attention to national elections and forget about what is happening on a local level. We encourage all you eligible voters, to get registered and stay engaged in your local communities.
To all students, we wish you a safe, enjoyable, and fulfilling summer!

Seeking Student Ambassador Recommendations
Dear Faculty and Staff,
We’re currently in the process of building a strong and dynamic team of student ambassadors for the Alfred State Admissions Office—and we’d love your input.
If you know any students who stand out as charismatic, hardworking, loyal, and passionate about Alfred State, please consider sending their names my way. We’re looking for individuals who not only represent the spirit of A-State but who can also confidently and authentically share that enthusiasm with prospective students and their families. As part of the Student Ambassador Program, students can serve as either Student Tour Guides or Student Callers.
Ideal candidates should be dependable, personable, and proud to be part of the Alfred State community. Your insight and recommendations will be incredibly valuable in helping us identify students who embody these qualities.
Please feel free to email me directly with your suggestions (padlom@alfredstate.edu). Thank you in advance for your support in helping us build an exceptional team!
Best regards,
Mike Padlo
