Christopher’s Challenge will be holding a bone marrow drive and will be there to educate and type people between the ages of 18-55 who would like to be added to the DKMS Registry. If someone relapses from a disease such as leukemia, their only hope to survive is to have a marrow transplant. Their sibling is the most likely match but if they do not match, then a search begins in the Registry. That is where you come in – you can get typed on April 17 and you may be that person that saves someone’s life. The initial testing is to complete a brief registration and a cheek swab. Our website has additional information at Welcome | Christopher's Challenge as well as our Facebook page – please like Christopher’s Challenge.
Let's come together and show our fraternity spirit by making this blood drive a huge success! Spread the word, bring your friends, and let's make a difference together.
